| I just got into a private screening of Martin Landau's new movie, "The Aryan Couple," and Landau has done it again, in his best performance since he was Bela Lugosi in Ed Wood. He plays a wealthy jew in Hungry during the Holocaust. In order to save his family he must turn his fortune over to the Germans. This film is not just another Schlinder's list, the viewer knows the holocaust is going on, but is doesnt show the brutality of it. Instead it shines a brighter side of the tragedy that is refreshing. I recommend anyone see's this film. |
