Hey guys,

I am new to this forum and it sounds like an interesting forum to be part of.

I am working on a project at the moment whereby I have to get several models made of some torture devices for a museum. The devices are made of wood but the catch is that they need to be animated.

The models are minature of real size constructions with cranks and swivels that were operated manually and the ideal is to reproduce the entrire mechanism and have it connected to a real size crank at the front of the display case so people can actaully animate the models as they go through the museum.

It is a pretty cool concept and I have most of the models done but I need to figure out a way to get or manufacture gears for each that will require very little maintenance and will last for years without wear.

Anyway, I thought I'd just through that on the forum hoping someone can help me with this.
