Hello again!
Aside from looking for information that relates directly to castles in Lancashire, I would also be interested to hear from anyone who might have any technical information about the actual construction of motte and bailey castles. Though I have a basic understanding of their layered structure and a few details of the building process involved, I would still very much like to gain a more thorough undertanding of the Norman techniques for raising motte and bailey defences. If anyone has any information, please share! Thank you. |
