 The purpose of a castle was to make military strongjolds or to hold armys. THe castles were made to protect land from attackers of others. Castles were built in the 13th sentury. in that time most people would have no place bit a castle to live in. People who liced in castles were mostly archers who stood on the top and warriors who protected the ouside |

 Castles were built for the mainj reason of military stronghold. THey were also built so enemys who attacked could be killed. MOst of the first castles were built by WIlliam the Conqurer. HE built a keep at th eside of England. Before his death he told the army of his castle to defend the Keep of England. The people who lived in castles were mostly kings and armys. MOst of the archer army lived on top of the towers to shoot arrows at the armys invading.   |
