where native american contributions are honored more highly than restrictive royal types with limited aesthetics and more interest in fighting or defending was just a sad fact of life
FLW fell in love with Mayan lighting and spent the most part of his life merely spinning rectangles but Bruce Goff was more enthused by the OK tribes of many types tossed into the multiple reservations in the state he emerged and taking to heart FLW's admonishment folks ought to quit copying his stlye so excessively caught onto another way of dealing with many original american shapes and forms, well its hard to say who really was the better architect. Less hard to say who amongst these masters of american organic architecture had a worse ego when the scotish heritage is a root of a problem.
By the way castles don't have to be dark and dank nasty places nor plastered up just to coverup the rubble pile. |
