During time of peace the king and queen had royal feasts.




The huntsmen prepared themselves for hunting and hawking. These sports provided them with fresh meat from rabbits, birds, deer, boar and other wild animals.




The cooks worked in the kitchen built in the castle courtyard




The butler was responsible for the food.




Bread was baked in brick ovens and the women took good care of it.
