AM SORRY TO BE SO SKEPTICAL, BUT I GUESS THAT'S WHY I AM CALLED A SKEPTIC. I MUST SAY THOUGH, I AM NOT A CLOSE MINDED ABOUT THE PARANORMAL AS I MIGHT APPEAR TO BE, IN FACT I RECENTLY TOOK A TEST TO SEE WHERE I WOULD SCORE AS A POTENTIAL PARAPHYSICOLOGIST, AND I WAS TOLD I SCORED VERY HIGH. HOWEVER, I GUESS I MUST HAVE BEEN A FORMER IOWAN FROM IOWA...THE SHOW ME STATE, BECAUSE I MUST SEE IT TO BELIEVE IT, AND I HAVEN'T SEEN THAT YET. I ACTUALLY CONTACTED SOMEONE OVERSEAS WHO CLAIMES THEY CAN TAKE ME TO SEE A VERY HAUNTED INN, PLUS HAVE A PHYSCIC (SORRY CANT SPELL THAT WORD)PRESENT. I HAVE DELCINED, BECAUSE I DON'T WANT ANYONE INFLUENCING MY MIND. I AND MY SISTER WILL GO IT ALONE, AND WE WILL PLAN TO STAY IN THE MOST HAUNTED PLACES IN ALL THE UK. IF SOMETHING PARANOMRAL HAPPENS THAT WOULD BE OUTSTANDING, BUT IF IT DOESN'T, IT WILL JUST COMFIRM MY SKEPTIC BELIEFS. SORRY FOR TYPOS.

REGARDING NON ENHANCEMENT OF THINGS OCCURING AT CHILLINGHAM CASTLE, WHEN I STAYED THERE, I WAS INFORMED BY THE REAL STAFF THAT THERE WERE ENHANCEMENTS MADE...LIKE SOUND AFFECTS AND PARANOMRAL ACTIVITY!! ALSO THE STAFF USED DURING THE FILMING, I WAS INFORMED, WHERE ACTORS. OH GEE, YOU DON'T SUPPOSE THOSE MEN IN BLACK SWAT TEAM SUITS THAT DESCENDED APON YOU, MIGHT NOT HAVE BEEN LURKING IN THE SHADOWS CREATING PARANORMAL ACTIVITY? WHEN I AND ONE FRIEND SPENT THE NIGHT AT CHILLINGHAM CASTLE (BY OURSELVES WITH ABSOLUTELY NO ONE ELSE IN THE CASTLE, AND NO PHONE) WE WALKED AROUND THE PREMISIS IN THE DARK, AND IF I WOULD HAVE LET MY IMAGINATION GET THE BEST OF ME, I MIGHT HAVE EXPERIENCED THE SAME THINGS YOU DID MR. OLSON. WHEN SOMEONE PLANTS THE SEED THAT A PLACE IS HAUNTED, VISITORS SUDDENLY START TO EXPERIENCE THINGS. .I WANT DESPERATELY TO EXPERIENCE THE PARANORMAL SO I WILL BE WON OVER. I DO PLAN TO GO BACK TO CHILLINGHAM IN fALL 2003, AND I AM SURE IT WILL BE A WONDERFUL A STAY AS BEFORE. I WILL INVITE THE GHOSTS TO EAT AT MY DINNER TABLE AND EVEN SET AN EXTRA PLATE, AS I HAD DONE WHEN I WAS THERE IN OCTOBER OF 2001. I WAS DISSAPOINTED THAT TIME, BECAUSE I HAD NO TAKERS. PERHAPS MANGLED SHEEPHEAD ON A STICK OVER A BONDFIRE WOULD BE THE RIGHT RECEIPE TO ENTICE THE SPIRITS, AS PER WHAT ALLEN ROBSON THINKS!! HEHELILY

Before doing the chant,
you must have three things:
mirror,candle[lit], chicken blood
First put one drip of chicken blood into the
candle and read chant as follows:

I would definitely go with my boyfriend, otherwise i would probubly end up scaring myself to death. Is there anyone who has stayed at Chillingham Castle who has encountered paranormal activity?

I am part of the staff at chillingham castle and can inform you that programs who have filmed at chillingham castle are fixed. However there is many sightings of extraordinary things, I myself have been in a strange event, which involved a flying vase. But although the castle is well haunted, it is a very friendly atmosphere and I will carry a part with me where ever i go.

i stayed at chillingham castle a few years ago when i was young n it scared me to death.
now i might sound stupid but there was some funny things that happen.

i stayed in the landseer and woke twice to the sound of children at the bottom of my bed. I was very a total skeptic until this happened.
